Ivy Rose Cottage
Welcome to Ivy Rose Cottage! Found at the base of Wauka Mountain in Clermont, GA - this farm cottage is bound to be your new favorite country retreat! The perfect place to getaway for a weekend or to enjoy new scenery for a week while working from home. The cottage is adjacent to our 32-acre goat farm, where guests can visit with animals or even help out with morning chores. Learn to milk a goat, feed the chickens and ducks, and say hello to all of our other farm animals. Fishing is available to our cottage guests as well. Farm tours can be booked in advance, or we can arrange for an evening tour that includes animal chores like milking and feeding. Farm activities and tours are extra costs.
The cottage has two bedrooms, an office, and two full baths. The Master has a king-sized bed and private bath with a shower. The second bedroom has a twin, a trundle, and a twin bunk bed. The office has a beautiful desk, as well as a full size bed in case you need to take a nap after putting in a good day’s work! The second bathroom is off of the living room, and contains a tub for a relaxing soak.

Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea on either of the two porches, from which you can hear the sounds of country life – crickets chirping, frogs croaking, and birds singing. Enjoy a picnic on the farm, or cook a five-course meal in the fully equipped kitchen. Pantry staples provided including eggs and goat milk from the farm. A fully stocked pantry can be accommodated for an extra fee (ask for more details). Pepper jelly made from peppers grown on the farm can be purchased separately.

To visit Ivy Rose Farm, it is just a short walk or drive next door. In addition to goats, Ivy Rose Farm also features horses, chickens, ducks, donkeys, and a llama.

Amenities include a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, a Keurig coffee machine, a toaster, and a blender.
Located in Clermont, GA, the house is an easy drive off of either 400 or 985. The house is approximately 20 minutes to Dahlonega, 25 minutes to Helen, and 30 minutes to Gainesville. The nearest grocery stores are 15 minutes away. There are tons of activities to do around the area, from hiking to zip lines to horseback riding to tubing – your adventure awaits!
Well behaved pets are welcome for an additional fee. Please ask for more details and costs. The backyard is not fenced.
